The British eSports Association has named Dominic Sacco as its Content Director.
Sacco is the Founder of Esports News UK and a well known and well regarded figure throughout the UK esports scene.
He will now be in charge of news and stories for members of www.britishesports.org. Alongside this it is part of his remit to grow the recognition of esports throughout Great Britain, promote its grassroots development as well as helping to raise the profile of the association itself.
Dom had this to say: “I’m delighted to be joining the British eSports Association. I can’t wait to be a part of something special and help to grow competitive video gaming in Britain.”
Andy Payne, Chair of British eSports, said of Sacco’s appointment: “Dominic was the obvious choice to come on board in this hugely important role and we are delighted that he is part of our growing team.
“The next 12 months for eSports in the UK will be incredibly important. We want to help develop British talent and build awareness around the real opportunities that eSports offer.”
