Tonight marks the first esports industry awards night – which will take place at The Brewery in London. Esports Insider will be in attendance this evening – and will be using our Twitter to keep readers reliably informed of tonight’s occurrences.
Three of the awards went to public vote whilst are decided by a panel of judges made up of some of the industry’s experts.
The 18 awards are as follows:

- Esports Commercial Partner of the Year
- Esports Team of the Year
- Best Live Event
- 2016 Shoutcaster of the Year
- Esports Rookie of the Year
- New Esports Game of the Year
- Best Hardware
- Streamer of the Year
- Best Esports Coverage Website 2016
- Esports Photographer of the Year
- Esports Journalist of the Year
- UK Esports Player of the Year
- Console Player of the Year
- PC Player of the Year
- Esports Publisher of the Year
- Esports Game of the Year
- Esports Personality of the Year
The whole event will be live streamed on Twitch for those that can’t make it to the evening.

Although details haven’t strictly been revealed, it appears that interaction will be encouraged – with tweets appearing across the big screen from fans who are tweeting into the awards night.
