Without further ado the shortlisted companies in contention to win are Unikrn, Pinnacle, Vitalbet, Danske Spil and Sky Betting and Gaming.

Unikrn CEO Rahul Sood said of the news: “We are really excited to be on the shortlist for Esports Operator of the year with SBC! All the hard work our team has put in is paying off. We have more licences incoming, we will soon expand across Europe and our betting products for skill and spectator are developing into something significant.

“The timing couldn’t be better and we hope we win!”

The award is being sponsored by Betradar, and Alex Inglot, Director of Communications at Sportradar, commented: “SBC have been quick to recognise the importance that esports has to today’s betting landscape, creating this important industry award category. We are delighted to work with them to help recognise and reward those operators that have seized the opportunity quickly and strategically.”

The awards will take place at Abramovich’s own favourite haunt, Under the Bridge, in Chelsea on December 7th. Tickets and more information on the event can be found here.

Esports Insider says: Regulated esports betting has had a huge year, and these five are some of the big players within it. Undoubtedly the judges will have a tough time deciding the winner.
