ELEAGUE and Gamma Labs, the company behind energy drink G FUEL, have announced an official marketing partnership that includes naming rights to ELEAGUE’s Atlanta-based studio.

This’ll henceforth be known as the G FUEL ELEAGUE Arena. The initial focus of the partnership will see G FUEL becoming the official energy drink of ELEAGUE, with the company reserving the ability to promote its energy drink products as the official energy drink of the league across all platforms.

Seth Ladetsky, Senior Vice President of Sales, Turner Sports commented: “We are proud to partner with G FUEL, a brand synonymous with high energy, focus and performance that is a perfect fit for our ELEAGUE community. We look forward to continuing to present all the excitement associated with our ELEAGUE coverage from G FUEL ELEAGUE ARENA.”

Cliff Morgan, CEO of Gamma Labs added: “This is a pivotal time for the esports community and this partnership is in line with GFUEL’s mission in gaming. Many new people will get exposed to the exhilarating thrill of esports competition through Turner’s extensive network, where winners and losers are separated by milliseconds. These competitors are true athletes, and G FUEL energy drink gives them the focus and reaction time they need to compete at this high level.”

Expect a series of campaigns from G FUEL in coming months. The brand is the latest to sign a partnership with Turner Sports’ ELEAGUE, and it follows on from notable names such as Snickers and Arby’s.

This deal begins straightaway and the ELEAGUE Major which started this weekend and conlcudes on January 29th will see the first G FUEL promotion.

Esports Insider says: A match made in capitalized heaven, this deal is further proof that ELEAGUE is leading the way amongst esports tournament organisers when it comes to establishing relationships with partner companies.
