Forbes Diamond is a prestigious title given to the best companies which have rapidly increased in value. Turtle Entertainment’s Poland arm is one of the latest to be added to the ranks.

The Forbes magazine’s ranking system was created in co-operation with Dun&Bradstreet. This is a business analytics firm which assesses the growth of businesses via a ‘Swiss evaluation method’.

In the Silesian region (among the top most valuable companies with a turnover 5-50 M PLN) Turtle Entertainment GmbH (the company behind ESL) placed fifth. On a Linkedin post Krzysztof Pikiewicz, the Managing Director of Turtle Entertainment of Poland, Russia and the CIS stated: “We recorded a 98.99% average increase in value in the years 2013-2016. This resulted in high 52nd position in the overall national ranking of the best companies with the fastest increase in value.”

He also noted that employment at ESL Poland has risen from 5 to 80 people in the space of just in a few years. This is thanks in a large part to Katowice but is also thanks to the television studio ESL Arena, where the European finals league of World of Tanks and the qualifiers for the ESL One, are transmitted globally.

Esports Insider says: A major achievement from the ESL Poland team. This is serious recognition of its achievements, and the increase in the number employed is a great stat to consider too.
