Boomeo launch with CLG, SK and G2 partnerships

G2 Esports announced yesterday that they had partnered with Boomeo.com, a website dedicated to helping Counter-Strike: Global Offensive players improve their game. Partnerships were also revealed with SK Gaming and Counter Logic Gaming as the website launches its beta.

The partnerships come as Boomeo looks to launch its offering to the wider CS:GO world. It offers players of the game unique content from a number of top Counter-Strike professionals. It covers basic strategy as well as advanced strategies such as specific smoke grenades. Not only that but Boomeo offers gameplay features such as Duels; which they dub the “ultimate warmup and training tool”. It pits players against each other in dozens of realistic 1 versus 1 situations.

Boomeo offers a Basic (free) account as well as Premium Subscription. With a basic account, players have restricted access to the plethora of content on the Boomeo website. The premium account offering is slightly different, as users can enjoy premium tutorials, health and wellness guides from the IMG Academy, reserved gameplay slots and gameplay modes on all maps.

Krystian Jaroszynski, Head of Business Development at G2 Esports said: “We’re delighted to be a launch partner for Boomeo and IMG. There are many CS:GO-oriented sites offering tutorials and guides out there, but none of them do it the way Boomeo does. It is a fantastic mixture of quality and innovation, and we are looking forward to the further development of the platform, with the participation of our star players. Looking to master your CS:GO skills with the best? Look no further”.

The idea of curated content from professionals and highly ranked players is something that has emerged across other esports titles in recent months. Pvgna.com is a similar site run for Dota 2, leveraging the knowledge of higher skilled players to provide guides for those trying to learn.

Esports Insider says: Boomeo’s site looks pretty slick and we definitely need to improve our game so we’ll give the free trial a go. Setting up partnerships with CLG, SK and G2 is mightly impressive as they’re very well established in the CS:GO scene.
