It was revealed late last week that Crystal had become a co-owner of PENTA Sports. It’s his second foray into esports following his previous investment in Denial Esports in early March. PENTA is a German based esports organisation who recently acquired the know-how of the Ad Finem organisation so to help grow their presence in Dota 2.

Hendrik Goetzendorff, CCO of PENTA Sports stated: “Having a lot of big announcements lately with the ELZ and the acquisition of Ad Finem, this is a very special one for us. For the first time PENTA Sports is going to have a shareholder from the US,” before adding: “Today we are opening a new chapter and I am pleased to present Stephen A. Crystal as Co-Owner/Shareholder in PENTA Sports – welcome on board Stephen!”.

Stephen A. Crystal told Esports Insider:  “I recognise that esports is a worldwide phenomenon. My association with PENTA brings me into a direct relationship with one of the outstanding European esports powerhouses which will also be helpful to me in my dealings in the USA. My intent and motivation is to provide mentorship and business experience to PENTA and it’s players and teams, and to be a steady hand as PENTA executes on its expansion plans. “

Esports Insider: Congratulations to PENTA and Stephen who have both been busy in the space in the last month or so. We look forward to seeing PENTA’s plans in coming months following Stephen joining and Ad Finem being acquired.

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
