HyperX, the gaming division of Kingston Technology Company, has announced that it has become the official peripherals sponsor of PGL Dota 2 Major Bucharest.
This is just the latest in HyperX’s esports sponsorships, and it’ll see the company onsite showing the latest products, offering giveaways, and providing show specials on HyperX accessories. HyperX sponsored teams are taking part in the tournament, such as Na’Vi and Team Liquid, and so this extension to the company’s involvement made sense.

The PGL Dota 2 Major Bucharest will take place in the Romanian capital in Polyvalent Hall; the offline events will be between March 4th and 11th whilst the finals at the Hall will be between March 9-11th. HyperX has joined Deutsche Telekom as one of the Bucharest’s Major’s key sponsors.

Esports Insider says: This caps quite a year for HyperX in the world of esports and follows on from fairly recent announcements regarding its sponsorship of NBA 2K League teams, and its crossover partnerships with some of the NBA teams themselves.
