The deal will see the Acer XF250Q 25-inch Full HD 1080p monitor used by the players at the event, as well as the caster and analysts using Acer Predator Triton laptops.

Andrew Hou, President of Pan Asia Pacific at Acer Inc stated: “Acer is proud to be selected as the official partner for ESL One Genting 2018. Through our gaming brand, Predator, we have consistently partnered gamers worldwide for the totally immersive experience like never before. We are confident the XF250Q monitors will help provide the best experience for these best teams to conquer new worlds”.

Ulrich Schulze, Senior Vice President of Product at ESL commented: “We continuously aim for our players to have the best conditions possible at our events, so that they focus entirely on the competition and perform at the highest level. Our partnership with Acer will ensure just that, and we look forward to a fantastic event in Genting.”

The $400,000 event will see sixteen of the world’s best Dota 2 teams grace the Genting Highlands at the Arena of Stars. Current leaders of the Dota 2 Pro Circuit Team Secret will be looking to make another giant stride towards a guaranteed The International 8 invite with a solid placing but they’ll have to beat some formidable outfits on the way.

The action gets underway on the 23rd January and will conclude on the 28th with the winner taking 200 Dota Pro Circuit points and a whopping $160,000 too.

Esports Insider says: Good news for both parties. With the absence of Galaxy Battles II from the Dota Pro Circuit now, Genting has become even more important as teams look to continue their challenge as we edge ever closer to Valve’s Dota flagship – The International.

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
