KSV, the esports organisation that owns the Seoul Dynasty Overwatch League team as well as the reigning world champions in League of Legends, has announced a partnership with Razer

The deal will see Razer’s gaming peripherals adorned by all KSV competitors, in both the Overwatch League and League of Legends. The initial deal is two years in length and will see the practice facilities of both the Overwatch League and LoL team kitted out in Razer gear, too.

“Helping ambitious organizations and players reach the next level has been a matter of the heart for Razer since the very early days of professional esports,” said Min-Liang Tan, Razer Co-founder and CEO. “The passion and dedication to building a long-term, winning organization of players makes a two-year deal with KSV eSports and Seoul Dynasty an easy decision.”

“KSV eSports teams and players are among the most talented and professional the industry has to offer,” said Kevin Chou, CEO and co-founder of KSV Esports. “Partnering with Razer ensures our athletes have access to the highest-quality peripherals to continue the organization’s success for now and into the future.”

KSV were originally founded purely as an Overwatch League franchise but the Silicon Valley organisation has continued to make big strides in recent months. The acquisition of Samsung Galaxy, the roster that won the League of Legends World Championships last year was big news and KSV also now holds Heroes of the Storm and PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds players as well.

Esports Insider says: Congratulations to both Razer and KSV – a good match for each other. Deals for those involved in the Overwatch League are starting to roll in more and more often now which is clearly encouraging for everyone involved – and long may it continue.
