The UK Esports Awards has partnered with G FUEL as the headline partner for their upcoming awards ceremony.

The partnership will see the energy drink’s name receive headline branding around the event and it’ll play an active role in promotional activities leading up to the event. The awards will be streamed live from Leicester’s ESL Studio 1 on Saturday, June 30th. The event will now be known as The UK Esports Awards powered by G FUEL. Speaking about the partnership, Clifford T Morgan, G FUEL Founder and CEO said : “As the official Energy Drink of esports, we are honoured to be a part of this groundbreaking and prestigious ceremony: one that seeks to acknowledge and award those individuals and organisations who continue to push the envelope on what is possible within esports.”

Adding to those comments, UK Esports Awards Co-founder Adam “Blanks” heath added: “We’re delighted to have G FUEL on board as Headline Partner. We look forward to working with them in the run up to the awards and on the big night itself.”

The UK Esports Awards was founded in 2018 by Esports News UK founder Dominic Sacco and UK CSGO founder Adam “Blanks” Heath. Award nominations are still open to the public with 16 awards total up for grabs across 4 categories: Gaming, Presentation, Backstage and Memes & Dreams. Award winners will be decided by a panel of esports industry judges.

Esports Insider says: The UK Esports Awards are shaping up nicely and getting a big sponsor on board will only help increase the awareness of it going forward. The awards are being run by two of the UK esports’ most well-respected figures giving more weight to the event too.
