Taking place on 8th-10th June at A-Kon 2018 in Texas, they have added the “OpTic Arena Battle Royale” to the line-up of events announced at the end of January. The 60-player competition, hosted on the widely-popular Fortnite Battle Royale, will offer the winning individual a “Golden Ticket VIP experience to visit Epic Games at E3”, with runners-up picking up “epic swag” from the developers.

The OpTic Arena Battle Royale will also feature OpTic Gaming members who will take part in exhibition matches for all attendees to participate and spectate. The lineup of influencers includes popular figures in the gaming world, including Michael “Flamesword” Chaves, Davis “Hitch” Edwards, Hector “H3CZ” Rodriguez, Ashley “Midnite” Glassel, the OpTic Gaming Gears of War and Player Unknown’s Battleground teams, and more.

The tournament is set to be one of three competitions at the OpTic Arena event, alongside Super Smash Bros. Melee, Dragon Ball FighterZ and Street Fighter V. Although Call of Duty was previously announced, it has seemingly been dropped from the event. Tickets and more information on the event can be found on the OpTic Arena website.

Esports Insider says: Well, it’s a wonderful competition for any OpTic fan who enjoys dabbling in a bit of Fortnite to join in. With a prize to take you to the widely popular E3 conference this June, it’d be worth taking a punt at.

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
