Vertagear also sponsors the likes of Bucks Gaming and Wizard District Gaming in the NBA 2K League. The company also has sponsorships with well-known esports organisations such as Team SoloMid, Misfits Gaming, and Panda Global.

Vertagear’s Director of Esports, James Vo commented: “We are absolutely thrilled to partner with HEAT Check Gaming with the start of the season underway. Vertagear plans to thoroughly support the team with our industry-leading gaming chairs and ensure the players have the most comfortable and ergonomic practice environment available.”

“As we assembled HEAT Check Gaming, our mission was to provide the premier players in the world with the best tools to become a championship team,” said HEAT Check Gaming Team Coordinator Derric Franklin. “We wanted to make sure our players were as comfortable as possible and the best way to do that was with Vertagear chairs. Vertagear crafts gaming chairs that are second to none in the industry. We couldn’t be happier to have our logo, and players, on Vertagear chairs.”

The NBA 2K League consists of city based teams, backed by 17 NBA organisations. All five players on each team receive six month contracts with a paid salary of at least $32,000 (£23,000), medical insurance, relocation and housing costs among the benefits.

The inaugural season tips off today with a tournament lasting the next five days in New York City. The regular season will begin May 11 with weekly matches up until the season finals in August.

Esports Insider says: As a prominent provider of gaming chairs there’s no doubt that HEAT Check Gaming is locking in a comfy partnership with Vertagear. It’s great to see the vast amount of sponsorship announcements coming out of the NBA 2K League before the season begins, as it looks set to be something of a game changer in the esports community.

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
