Gfinity signs multi-year deal with Domino’s

Gfinity UK has signed Domino’s as a presenting partner in a multi-year deal, the deal will deliver ‘significant investment’ into the Gfinity Challenger and Elite series.

This new deal will see Domino’s become a presenting partner for Gfinity, allowing Domino’s to tap into esports large, mostly young demographic. As part of the deal, Domino’s will have an in-show presence during broadcasts as well as player sleeve branding, social media activations, bespoke content and digital assets.

This partnership, which runs until December 2020, will join the likes of Lynx and Turtle Beach. As part of the deal, Domino’s will also promote the event on their ‘extensive channels’ – Domino’s will also appear on all Gfinity UK events with the tagline ‘Delivered by Domino’s’.

Garry Cook, Executive Chairman of Gfinity, had this to say:“We are delighted to have entered into a multi-year strategic partnership with Domino’s. It is a testament to the continued growth of esports and the quality of the Gfinity Elite Series. “Esports has become the entertainment of choice for brands looking to connect with young adult consumers. It is exciting, it is growing and it is full of opportunity. We look forward to working with Domino’s to create new and innovative ways to bring even more excitement and interest in the Elite Series.”

Gfinity Elite series UK and  Challenger series currently operate their tournaments in FIFA, Rocket League and Street Fighter V broadcasts. Gfinity also hosts a number of third-party events such as the recent F1 Esports Draft, while Gfinity Australia has their own Elite Series which are not part of this latest deal.

Esports Insider says: Having a broadcast partner is a logical next step, Gfinity Australia has a similar deal with Alienware, so this was a logical next step for Gfinity UK. The deal itself is a significant one, any large deal with a non-endemic sponsor is good news, especially when the brand is familiar to your audience like Domino’s.
