German esports organisation FC Schalke 04 Esports has welcomed a new partner in the form of computer peripherals and hardware company CORSAIR.

This deal includes a jersey sponsorship, with CORSAIR’s logo being displayed prominently on the jerseys worn by those representing FC Schalke 04 Esports.

Tim Reichert, Chief Gaming Officer of FC Schalke 04 Esports commented on the partnership: “We are pleased to welcome CORSAIR as our official partner for PC peripherals and hardware in the Schalke 04 Esports family. CORSAIR has been a key player in gaming for many years. The experience they have built over two decades will benefit our players. In order to play under the best possible conditions and at the highest level, the perfect equipment is essential for our Esport professionals.”

CORSAIR will provide the organisation’s players with its gaming products for practicing with. The company has a number of products in its range, including headsets, keyboards, computer cases, mice, and mouse pads.

Lauren Premo, Director of Gaming Marketing at CORSAIR added: “CORSAIR is thrilled with the partnership with Schalke 04. With an association that has been in existence for 114 years, Schalke 04 brings almost unrivaled levels of stability to the Esport. When looking for promising partners, we had to take advantage of the great opportunity to work with the S04. To support such a traditional brand with hardware and peripherals at the highest level makes us especially proud. The recent success of the LoL team in the EU LCS Summersplit speaks for itself and we look forward to making a difference with S04 Esports in Germany.”

FC Schalke 04 Esports is already partnered with AOK NordWest, KONAMI, Twitch, Deutsche Glasfaser, and effect. CORSAIR sponsors the likes of BIG, Clutch Gaming, Counter Logic Gaming, Invictus Gaming, Team Secret, Splyce, as well as a number of other organisations.

Esports Insider says: This is a fairly standard partnership in general, with a jersey sponsorship and hardware being provided for players. CORSAIR has slowly been building up a more diverse portfolio of partners in 2018, and now it has strengthened its presence in Germany with this particular deal.
