FACEIT Major London partners with ODEON cinemas and Barcraft

FACEIT has announced a partnership with UK cinema chain ODEON and Barcraft United to broadcast the FACEIT Major London finals live at their venues across the globe.

The partnership will see ODEON show the final on September 23rd at 14 of its locations across the UK, including Cardiff, Blackpool, Manchester and Birmingham to name a few with other locations across the country.

Meanwhile, Barcraft United will help organise viewing parties at over 200 locations across the globe – including LAN cafes and esports bars, while Barcraft is looking for international fans to host viewing parties in their area. The current list, including ODEON locations, can be found on the Barcraft event page.

With the finals just days away, FACEIT has also confirmed Sky Sports will broadcast the final of the Major on live TV in the UK, while the FACEIT premium pass is available for viewers on Twitch.

The finals themselves will be hosted at the now sold out SSE Arena this coming weekend. The SSE Arena will be the second major location of the FACEIT Major after the event held both the minors, Challengers Stage and Legends Stage and the famous Twickenham Stadium, London, famous for being the home of English rugby unions matches.

Esports Insider says: FACEIT have done a great job of selling London and the UK in general to the wider CS:GO and esports crowd. In a year that has seen major esports events decent upon the UK and London specifically – FACEIT have done a great job in giving fans more ways to watch the final than ever before. Their inclusion of major UK partners such as Sky Sports and ODEON will only help grow esports into the mainstream. Of course, it helps that fans will get the chance to see two of the UK’s top CS:GO talents playing at the Major finals.
