Esports event organiser, ESL introduced through social media its new label Enter Records with the tagline “Soundtracking the gaming experience.”

Back in August, ESL and Universal Music signed a multi-year deal to promote artists at esports event. Now, ESL introduced Enter Records, a label created to nurture the artist within the esports community.

Musicians and creators of all genres are encouraged to apply to the new label. Artists can submit their work through the website. At the moment of this report, Enter Records had received 453 projects.

The chosen artist will have the opportunity to showcase their projects in front of massive audiences at ESL events. ESL is getting ready for the ESL One Hamburg 2018 at the Barclaycard Arena in Hamburg, Germany. This Dota 2 event promises to gather a passionate audience from October 26 to October 28.

ESL is entering a new market, and one of the essential elements of gaming, music. Live performances have become part of the major events, so it makes sense for ESL to start working with their own artist.

On Twitter, ESL shared a promotional image and wrote: “Together with you, the fans and creators, we will drive the musical gaming experience to the next level!”

ESL is yet to reveal more details about the label.

Esports Insider says: The esports industry is so much more than players, behind the scenes thousands of people make every event possible. ESL and Enter Record are opening the doors for gamers that are also creators. These artists can finally find a place to show their talent, supported by one of the biggest names in esports.
