Overwatch League team New York Excelsior (NYXL) announced the return of the NYXL Shop and LAN Sponsored by HP Omen next November.
Back in July NYXL surprised the fans with a pop-up store in Brooklyn to celebrate the Overwatch League Inaugural Season finals. At the time, the team announced an exclusive partnership with Los Angeles-based brand Undefeated to release a special edition jersey.
Now, NYXL is getting ready for Season 2 in partnership with HP Omen. The NYXL Shop and LAN will open on weekends from November 16 through December 23. At the store, fans can purchase exclusive products including a new capsule collection by Undefeated and limited-edition Nike Air Force 1 featuring the team’s custom two-toned colour scheme.
The LAN cafe will be open for every player looking to have fun with other fans. HP Omen provided the NYXL Shop and LAN with 32 computers that players can enjoy for $10 an hour. HP Omen will sell its products at the store.
NYXL also announced a collaboration with street artist Stash and designer Melody Ehsani. Stash will be creating a mural inside the store inspired by NYXL and Ehsani is releasing an exclusive NYXL-themed jewellery collection.
Back in July, when the NYXL store opened for the first time, Collette Gangemi, NYXL Head of Merchandise and Consumer Products said: “Our vision for esports in New York goes well beyond video game-inspired apparel, and our hope is that this ongoing collaboration really showcases the relationship between the global esports and streetwear communities.”
The NYXL Shop and LAN opens on November 13 at 2:00 PM ET.
