How do you land that dream job in esports? With the industry growing at an almost alarming rate, there are more roles emerging all the time with more talent across the board required to sustain and continue this growth.

Misfits Gaming, best known for their success in the EU LCS, Europe’s premier League of Legends tournament, the team has grown in recent years with the team competing across multiple events in a multitude of games around the world. If rumours are to be believed, it looks like Misfits Gaming as also secured its place in the newly franchised EU LCS league.

The job is on the low end when it comes to experience, only requiring one year working in social media, a resident of Europe and fluent in English. You are also going to need to be pro-active and consistent, whilst an interest in esports and gaming is clearly required. You’ll work with players, other team members and just generally deliver the Misfits message to the fans.

Twitch – London, UK – Director of Events Sales & Sponsorships – Full-Time

Twitch is a pretty big deal, it’s the go-to place for streaming, the top broadcaster of esports events and it has allowed thousands of gamers and creators to earn a living broadcast their dreams to viewers across the world. Now, you have a chance to join the growing Twitch team by becoming their new Director of Events Sales & Sponsorships.

Video game and esports industry knowledge, entrepreneurial spirit, team player, experience with MS Office and well connected in the industry? Then this might be the job for you. You will need 8 years of experience in sales within relevant industries, but anyone that feels they’re qualified will surely find success with this application. EA – Guildford, UK – Communications Manager FIFA Competitive Gaming Division – Full-Time

EA, and more specifically FIFA UK appear to be gearing up for the ePremier League with this latest hire. While we still know little about the overall workings of the league, apart from its format, we can be sure that EA will be doing a lot of the heavy lifting for the first season.

EA wants you to be a massive football and esports fan, exceptional writing skills, work with external partners and fluent in a wide range of marketing tools.
