We’d like to congratulate all top ten shortlisted tournaments, the vote reached a total of 20,000 people online with not much distance between the top five tournaments. Of course we’d like to give a special shout out to the three winners; ESL for their event ESL One GentingMars Media for their event MDL Changsha Major and of course eventual winners RIOT for their event The League of Legends World Championship.

Eric M. Gottschalk, SPIA

“The standard of entries has gotten better every year and this truly reflects the strength and depth in Asia’s sports industry. We have seen professionally operated independent events and organisations alongside some of the biggest brands in the industry, and this is very encouraging for everyone in sports in Asia,” said Mr. Eric M. Gottschalk, CEO of MMC Sportz, organizer of SPIA Asia – Asia’s Sports Industry Awards & Conference.

“We received more than 400 submissions this year and I’d like to congratulate all entrants and the Top 10 Finalists in each category for their professionalism and high calibre. After an in-depth and independent judging process which concluded here at SPIA Asia, I’m very happy to be able to announce Asia’s best-of-the-best in sports, here in Bangkok.”

Esports Insider says: SPIA Asia was a great event showcasing what’s going on in the world of Asian sports to the top representatives across the Asian sports industry. We hope to work with them again in the future and continue expanding upon the already vibrant Asian esports industry.

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
