Chin Wu, Sr. Marketing Manager for US Gaming at HP discussed the sponsorship: “The OMEN by HP team couldn’t be more excited to work with the incredible folks at Wizards of the Coast to power this historic tournament. Magic: The Gathering has been a staple in the tabletop gaming community for decades and we expect MTG Arena to do the same in the digital landscape. Being able to provide the PCs, displays, and accessories these 64 players will be using is a privilege. We wish good luck to all of them and an awesome time to all the fans and newcomers tuning in.”

OMEN by HP will provide desktop computers for 64 streamers and professional players to compete on throughout the Invitational. The winner will receive $250,000 (£189,475) and an OMEN by HP gaming setup.

Elaine Chase, VP of Esports for Wizards of the Coast added: “It’s a banner year for competitive Magic: The Gathering with a $10 million prize pool for the 2019 season. Joining forces with OMEN by HP for the $1 million Mythic Invitational is a major milestone for Magic. We look forward to competitors and viewers experiencing intense MTG Arena gameplay with high-end OMEN gaming machines for a must-see experience during PAX East.”

OMEN by HP also sponsors the likes of Overwatch League, Astralis, Origen, BIG, Cloud9, and Counter Logic Gaming.

Esports Insider says: This is a big, big event for Magic: The Gathering and it really needs to be executed well. OMEN by HP is trusted by a number of organisations and competitions so the event’s gameplay could definitely be in worse hands!

We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
