DreamHack Mobile Series is comprised of two games – Supercell’s Clash Royale and Brawl Stars – and launched earlier this year. The series is the first big commitment into mobile esports from DreamHack and will officially kick off at DreamHack Dallas from May 31st.

Marcus Lindmark, CEO of DreamHack commented in a release: “Simply put, we couldn’t ask for a better partner for our DreamHack Mobile Series than Samsung, one of the world’s leaders in mobile phones. We think it’s unique when DreamHack fans can engage with us in new ways, and certainly with Samsung on board, we will be bringing some great synergy to our fans at DreamHack Summer.”

Additionally, Samsung and the Samsung Experience Store in Stockholm will host qualifying tournaments for DreamHack’s Clash Royale series on June 9th.

Andreas Bergqvist, Product Manager Telecom at Samsung Nordic added: “We are excited to join forces with DreamHack this year, as we have a growing consumer base of gamers. This is a natural development as we have continued lead the mobile industry with innovative products where the quality of the screen as well as the power and performance support a top notch gaming experience. We are thrilled to play an active part in the world’s first mobile e-sports tournament and hope that as many as possible will get to experience our products first hand.”

Esports Insider says: Mobile esports have plenty of potential so seeing DreamHack getting involved is definitely a good step, but seeing Samsung support this venture is even better.

  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
