We’re keeping very tight-lipped over who we are inducting into the Class of 2019. However, what better time to look back at who we welcomed as our inaugural inductees back in 2018?

The Esports Insider Hall of Fame 2018 event took place at the world-famous Natural History Museum in London. That night we welcomed three industry greats into the Hall of Fame: Chris Puckett, Jason Lake and Michal’ Carmac’ Blicharz.

Jason Lake

Jason is an esports veteran of 16 years having founded the internationally-renowned organisation Complexity Gaming all the way back in 2003. With humble beginnings dating to back to CounterStrike 1.6 days, the team now competes across many titles such as Fortnite, Rocket League and Dota 2.

He’s been there and done it all. Fighting through the hardships of esports team ownership to partnering with the Dallas Cowboys. Jason has and continues to set the standard as to what makes a great esports team owner.

Chris Puckett

One of the most recognisable voices in esports over the last decade. Starting out as a competitor, he then decided to lend his voice to numerous titles: whether it’s Halo, Call of Duty or Overwatch.

For many Puckett may be best known now for prominent role on the broadcast of the Overwatch League. His esports days, however, go back a lot further than the OWL. He joined MLG in 2004 and went on to commentate on some of the biggest MLG and Call of Duty events in history.

Michal ‘CARMAC’ Blicharz

CARMAC has done it all. Tournament organiser, journalist, host, commentator, caster, editor.

Over almost two decades, he has continued to improve and develop esports entertainment whilst making it as competitive as possible.

Now VP of Pro Gaming at ESL, he continues to shape esports, with their recent Pro League restructure causing huge improvements to their Pro League viewership.

If you would like to find out who our three esteemed inductees are going to be in the Class of 2019, then join us in LA on June 10th.
