French crop spraying company BERTHOUD, which was founded in 1895, will utilise its own employees to compete in the Farming Simulator League. The other new addition, German agricultural machinery manufacturer CLAAS, will also sponsor a team. The latter is also playing host to FarmCon 19 in its German headquarters.

Fellow farming and agriculture companies GrimmeAMAZONEJohn Deere, Trelleborg Wheel Systems, Horsch, Lindner Traktoren, Krone, Bednar, and Komatsu Forest are all involved in the league. Esports organisation mYinsanity and game publisher Astragon Entertainment will also compete throughout the season.

The entire first season will consist of 10 LAN events in Europe and four offline events, with a total of €250,000 (£224,315) being distributed as prize winnings throughout. The league will be streamed in English on both Twitch and Mixer, and in German on YouTube.

American agricultural chemical and seed company Corteva Agriscience has been announced as the main sponsor of the Farming Simulator League, with Logitech G, Intel, DLG, Nitrado, and noblechairs also showing support.

Esports Insider says: The announcements just keep on coming for the Farming Simulator League! Soon, though, that will have to stop as things are close to getting underway. We’re genuinely intrigued to see how the league is received, not only in terms of viewership but with opinions on the gameplay. This is something quite unique, and incredibly entertaining, for esports.

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
