Mars Media is a China-based event organiser. It ran the Dota 2 Professional League for two years and has been running major tournaments since 2016, mainly being hosted in China though Macau has played host to its events twice. It’s most recent tournament, MDL Disneyland Paris Major, was its first to take place outside of Asia.

This will be the tenth iteration of the MDL Chengdu Major and will mark the launch of the upcoming Dota 2 Pro Circuit season. There’s no word as to how many Major and Minor events there will be throughout the season, though there were five Majors and five Minors in 2018-2019.

After this event, Chengdu will be the home of another major event – this time from the Overwatch League. Franchise Chengdu Hunters will host its homestand events on July 25th and August 1st, both being hosted in the WULIANGYE Chengdu Performing Arts Center.

Esports Insider says: Huge announcements for the Chinese esports industry keep on coming, with several cities committing to becoming the number one of their region. The agenda of Sichuan’s capital, Chengdu, keeps on getting busier, and the MDL Major will be an excellent opportunity for the city to shine internationally once again.

We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
