Video games merchandising company The Koyo Store has formalised its expansion into the esports industry with dedicated bespoke products.
It has launched a service for bespoke pin badges and achievement coins, much like those used by ESL UK, Ninjas in Pyjamas, and Fnatic.
This expansion will include new achievement coins, bespoke pin badges for teams, organisers, and players, and limited-edition products. Its next partnership includes pins, coins and collector boxes for this year’s edition of the Esports Awards.
Lee Townsend, Managing Director of The Koyo Store discussed the move in a release: “Having worked alongside a number of Esports teams and tournaments over the past few months, we recognise that there is huge demand for bespoke event-specific merch. Our bespoke service provides a unique opportunity for Esports tournaments and personalities to create their own merchandise to promote and celebrate their offerings. Turn a logo, image or likeness into something physical – whether that’s a pin badge, collectible challenge coin, key ring or more – the only limitation is your imagination.”
Founded in 2018, The Koyo Store has already produced pin badges for tournament organisers ESL UK and FACEIT, organisations DarkZero Esports, Ninjas in Pyjamas, and Fnatic, and UK gaming event “Chicken for Charity.”
The shop is perhaps best-known for its products based on the competitive title Rainbow Six Siege. It also sells products based on other games and pop culture, such as Street Fighter and Game of Thrones.
Esports Insider says: This announcement is a logical evolution of The Koyo Store which has become, only in one year, famous in the niche of competitive games pin badges selling. Esports is a growing market which will allow The Koyo Store to grow as a brand.
