BIG promotes Balázs “Draulon” Lengyel to Chief Digital Officer

German organisation BIG has promoted Balázs “Draulon” Lengyel to the position of Chief Digital Officer.

Balázs had previously worked as the company’s Lead Social Media Manager, a role that he occupied for 22 months.

Draulon is also known in the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive community as both a writer and broadcast talent.

He broke the news on Twitter, stating: “Proud to announce that I’m heading into 2020 as the Chief Digital Officer of [BIG]! This could’ve not been possible without the fantastic team I work with, and I am excited to continue building BIG into a top brand!”

BIG currently fields teams in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, League of Legends, FIFA, Quake, and Trackmania. It’s partnered with Betway, OMEN by HP, SkinBaron, Backforce, CORSAIR, and Esportal.

Daniel Finkler, CEO of BIG also commented on the move: “When [Draulon] joined us in 2017, I knew from the start that he is the right choice & would help us with his talent, passion & work ethic. Moreover he is a great guy!

“The position is related to a lot of responsibility, but I don’t have any doubts that he will do great things.”
