The partnership will allow attendees to pre-order items from Overclockers UK from February 14th and have their orders ready and waiting at their designated epic29 desk ahead of the first day of the event on February 20th.

Andy Welsh, Events & Influencer Manager at Overclockers UK, discussed the partnership in a release: “We’re really happy to finally be a part of epic.LAN for 2020! Community is key to us, so being able to attend is exciting, as it gives us chance to show off some of our mental creations, plus offer our famous delivery service, and have some fun.”

The partnership will also see an Overclockers UK brand activation at the event, including showcases of its highest-end machines, giveaways, and free case upgrades and fittings for PCs that it deems “in need” of a touch-up.

Jon Winkle, Managing Director of epic.LAN, also commented: “As someone who has grown up with Overclockers UK as my local PC retailer, remembering their original shop in Fenton in the same building as our own first office, I’ve been keen to work closer with the team there for many years and we’ve finally been able to make that happen for all of our 2020 events.

“The Overclockers UK team really understands how to build PCs for extreme performance and we all know how critical that is for gaming. We’re all really excited to be working together over the next 12 months in this partnership which starts at our own LAN gaming events.”

Esports Insider says: A collaboration between two organisations at the national level is always great to see, especially at events from epic.LAN which have something to offer esports enthusiasts and more casual gamers alike.
