Esports merchandising company We Are Nations has entered a global licensing deal with footwear brand ISlide.
The agreement will see ISlide license We Are Nations’ roster of esports team and influencer IPs for use on its footwear.

Available for purchase from February 6th on ISlide’s website, slides will feature the branding of Complexity Gaming, UYU, SK Gaming, Method, and Team Reciprocity.
Patrick Mahoney, CEO of We Are Nations, discussed the deal in a release: “Anyone who has been following We Are Nations knows that getting our teams on products sold next to mainstream sports organizations and through mainstream sales channels has always been a primary part of our growth strategy. With ISlide, we found the perfect partner who makes a quality, on-trend and well priced product that also shares our vision of esports. We are excited to see where this goes.”

ISlide is a long-term licensee with leagues such as NBA, NHL, MLB, NBA 2K League, and Overwatch League.

Esports Insider says: We Are Nations did a good job of building up a solid roster of teams in 2019 and quickly shifted to ensuring retail was a high priority too. This deal could be a big draw for the teams involved, and We Are Nations, if the products are advertised well.
