Entertainment and dining company GameWorks has announced the appointment of three new directors to its board of directors.
Holly Gagnon, Eric Mersch, and Len Wange will serve as independent directors on the board, which now comprises of six people.

Gameworks operates seven facilities across the United States, filled with arcades, video games, and esports entertainment – including competitive tournaments.
Gagnon’s background as President and Chief Executive Officer of Seneca Gaming Corporationsaw her oversee the operation of three resorts and casinos, with a focus on guest experience, employee engagement and meeting financial targets. She is also a founding board member and chair of the mentorship committee of Global Gaming Women, a network in the casino and gambling industry.

Mersch brings 20 years of experience from the finance sector to GameWorks, including serving as an equity partner at FLG Partners. He’s said to specialize in strategic planning, equity and debt fundraising, financial planning and analysis, business intelligence, accounting, and auditing.
Wanger is the Chief Technology Manager for industrial 3D printer manufacturer Impossible Objects. He has experience as an investor and advisor to both private and public companies, including VitalStream and AllDigital Holdings.

Esports Insider: Considering the sprawling backgrounds of the new directors, GameWorks has a lot of experience across a number of sectors and industries. These certainly seem like strong appointments.
