Jacobs previously served as the Senior Managing Director, Digital Sales for Robb Report, overseeing digital sales and established partnerships. Prior to that role, he held roles at Vertical Mass, Complex, and Break Media.

Brad Sive, CRO of TSM, commented on the hire in a release: “Mark brings a wealth of knowledge and a deep understanding of digital media sales to the table. He will be integral to the execution of our strategic initiatives with Blitz, and I am certain he will drive success for our brand partners. We are thrilled to have him on our team.”

Swift, the parent company of TSM, acquired Blitz in November 2018 and was a “multi-million” deal, though a specific figure wasn’t disclosed. Blitz is an online coaching platform that enables its users to learn champions from League of Legends, offering personalised statistics and automated coaching.

Jacobs spoke on his new venture: “I am so excited to join TSM and to be focusing on such an innovative product offering like Blitz. I am looking forward to using my background and network to make an immediate impact and building what I know will be a wildly successful business.”

Esports Insider says: With his experience, Jacobs looks to be a good candidate for the role – learning esports is a must, though, and that’s not easy for everybody.

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
