Oakley has joined Lenovo, Michelin, Red Bull, Cashback World, BMW M, and Tissot as a partner of the MotoGP eSport Championship.

Pau Serracanta, Managing Director of Dorna Sports, added: “I’m very happy about this new agreement with Oakley, who are such an important partner of MotoGP. The fact that they also have products to improve the experience of the gamers makes our partnership even more important for the coming years.”

Esports Insider says: Oakley joining the championship as a partner is a logical move considering that it already sponsors several MotoGP races in the calendar. The partnership is Oakley’s entrance into esports, so if this is successful then it could be the catalyst for further involvement in the future.
