For the first time, PUMA footwear silhouettes will be apart of Cloud9’s latest collaboration with the Future Rider, RS-X and AGF (Active Gaming Footwear) all donning the esports organisation’s branding. In particular, AGF has been described to deliver “comfort, support and grip engineered to adapt to different active gaming modes with its sock-like fit”.

According to the release, all three styles of the footwear have been designed to appeal to “the casual gamer at home and for those who compete on the big stage”. Moreover, it has also been revealed that alongside the footwear will be a new drop of apparel and merchandise. Whilst details of those have yet to be revealed the photo does indicate that a new t-shirt line will be available.

Cloud9 first got involved with PUMA in January 2019, however, following the initial success of the campaign, both entities agreed on a new multi-year extension later that year.

Since the collaboration first took place, the sportswear manufacturer has fully integrated itself into the esports ecosystem, partnering with the likes of Australian team ORDER and Multinational organisation Gen.G.

The collection, which retails between $12 – $120 (~£9 – £91), will be made available to purchase on November 12th with customers being able to order the products on both PUMA’s and Cloud9’s official websites. Additionally, it has been confirmed that select items will be available at Footlocker, amazon.com and Pacsun.

Esports Insider says: Cloud9 and PUMA continue to push the boundaries of apparel collaborations. Moreover, the latest collection highlights how the sportswear manufacturer identifies competitive gaming as a worthwhile investment. Since beginning relations in 2019, the partnership has strengthened with every launch and so it’ll be interesting to see how the firms’ relations develop in the future.
