Leo Matlock, Commercial Director at BLAST, commented in a release: “Stimorol are a renowned [fast-moving consumer goods] brand and we are delighted to partner with them again to engage BLAST fans, and bring their products closer to the world of esports. The Fall Final is one of the most highly anticipated events of our year where we expect millions of viewers to be tuning in, it’s great to have Stimorol on board ahead of December’s tournament.”
BLAST has already shared video content featuring Stimorol branding with the first of a three-part series highlighting pro players’ unique quirks already released. The companies will also collaborate on giveaways around the $425,000 (£324,000) competition, as well as a Stimorol-branded in-game CS:GO map.
Stimorol previously sponsored a BLAST Pro Series event in Copenhagen in November 2019. Moreover, both Stimorol and BLAST were founded in Denmark.

Jesper Fruensgaard, Brand Manager for Mondelez International, added: “We are very excited to connect and engage with the huge fan base of BLAST. Chewing gum is a highly relevant product for esports as it helps you concentrate. Studies suggest that chewing gum can help you stay focused for longer and improve concentration in visual memory tasks. Stimorol wants to help esports players enhance their concentration and ultimately improve performance. So come on guys – gumcentrate!”
Esports Insider says: Even though BLAST couldn’t host the event in person due to ongoing pandemic restrictions, the company is still pulling in non-endemic sponsors. This alliance must have been beneficial for Stimorol last time around as they’re back in action for the second year running.
