Prêmio eSports Brasil 2020, an annual awards ceremony celebrating Brazil’s most prominent industry figures, has named Computer manufacturer Lenovo and energy drink company Fusion as official sponsors.
The upcoming edition of Prêmio eSports Brasil, premiering on December 8th, will see both Lenovo and Fusion return as sponsors for the second consecutive year. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

The pair of brands will join Brazilian telecommunications company Oi as supporters of the awards ceremony, which will air on SporTV 3. Sports and esports investment group Go4it, with Brazilian communications firm Globo being the organisers of the event.
Prêmio eSports Brasil was created in 2017 and is recognised as the largest esports award ceremony in Latin America. This year’s edition will take place at the Globo studios in São Paulo without an audience due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Lenovo, which often promotes its Legion line of gaming hardware, is no stranger to esports. The computer manufacturer has previously inked partnerships with the Apex Legends Global Series, North American organisation TSM, and most recently collaborated with Power League Gaming to promote female gamers in the Middle East and North Africa.
