Esports and racing organisation Veloce has strengthened its managerial team with the recruitment of Guido Hakkenberg as Veloce Esports’ Head of Partnerships and James Robinson as a Commercial Consultant for Veloce Racing.
Both appointments are expected to bring more knowledge from the commercial side of racing, which according to the release, is described as ‘invaluable’ to Veloce’s goal of ‘marching to the forefront of esports’.

Hakkenberg boasts a large commercial background having served stints in business development and partnership roles at Black Book Motorsports and Manor Racing. Most recently he held the position of Partnership Development Director at Motorsport Network.
Jack Clarke, Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer at Veloce Esports and Veloce Racing commented: “We’re really excited about our latest high-profile additions to the team.

Robinson has spent time in Formula 1’s ecosystem with Renault/Lotus between 2006 and 2018 in a variety of different roles. In 2018, he joined Formula One Management (FOM) as its Global Partnerships Director, a position that he held until late last year.
Robinson also founded Pace, a commercial agency that represents the interests of brands and rights-holders in Motorsport.
