Kyle Scott, formerly of North American organisation NRG Esports, has joined influencer marketing agency QYOU Media as its Vice President of Global Partnerships.
In his new role, Scott will help develop the agency’s global brand partnerships across a range of verticals, including esports and gaming.
In March 2019, Scott joined NRG Esports as the organisation’s Vice President of Business Development. After 15 months at NRG Esports, he moved to video game marketing company Noiz to become the firm’s Vice President of Brand Partnerships.
Glenn Ginsburg, Senior Vice President of Global Partnerships at QYOU Media, spoke on the appointment in a release: “With 2021 poised to be a momentous year for QYOU Media, we are confident Scott’s contribution to our global growth will produce bold and innovative campaigns backed by our geographically dispersed business development team. I trust Scott will strengthen our effectiveness as a partner for creators and as a resource for brands on a global scale.”
According to the release, Scott’s addition to QYOU Media comes after the agency reported a ‘substantial return in growing revenues and monetisation’ in its Indian and the United States-based units.
The newly appointed vice president of global partnerships also spoke on his new role: “Joining QYOU Media comes at an opportune time for myself and the company as we’re both evolving our strategies and approaches in alignment with the pace of the ever-changing digital media landscape.
“I’m going to cultivate high impact multi-channel partnerships and lead a geographically dispersed business development team that will continue to situate QYOU Media as a top influencer marketing resource for advertisers of frontier and trusted audiences.”
Esports Insider says: The addition of Kyle Scott to QYOU Media’s staff is certainly a solid move for a company that is expanding at a rapid rate. With plenty of experience from his time at NRG, Scott is the perfect candidate to take the company to new heights.
