de Ronde becomes the second high-profile celebrity to join forces with Team Liquid as a brand ambassador in 2021, joining former WNBA champion Aerial Powers, who was announced in January.

Moreover, the appointment marks a continuation of Team Liquid’s other music-related collaborations. These included partnerships with EDM music label Armada Music and pop-rock band Anamanaguchi.

Regarding the announcement, de Ronde told Esports Insider: “Being an active gamer and follower of several streamers, I noticed while hanging out in Twitch chats that there were often people that recognised my name. They seemed to be surprised that I have such a passion for gaming, and being part of gaming communities. That made me realise that the esports and gaming communities have a massive overlap with music fans, especially in the genre that I produce and DJ.”

Despite only being in April, Team Liquid has been fairly busy following the launch of Liquid+. As of this writing, the organisation has secured partnerships with IMC, Bud Light and Naruto, among others.

“I have been a TL fan for a while, and admire the combination of a competitive atmosphere with a family-feel.” de Runde added. “I’m looking forward to creating more musical content with Team Liquid and introducing more people to the Team Liquid brand.”

Esports Insider says: Considering Ruben de Ronde has previously collaborated with Team Liquid, it’s no surprise to see the DJ and organisation expand on its already existing relationship. It’ll be interesting to see exactly what musical content de Ronde will release with Team Liquid.

We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
