Talent, entertainment and sports agency UTA has announced that veteran investment executive Clinton Foy will be joining UTA Ventures as General Partner, Venture Capital.
Working alongside Sam Wick, the Head of UTA Ventures, Foy’s work will focus on growing and developing the company’s investment platforms.

Prior to joining UTA, Foy was General Partner and Managing Director at Crosscut Ventures, where he was the lead investor in several successful companies, including Streamlabs, PlayVS, and FitOn.
For also spent time working with esports organisation Immortals and IGC.gg (Immortals Gaming Club), which he co-founded. Most notably, he served as the COO for gaming company Square Enix, which is known for titles such as Tomb Raider and Final Fantasy.
Speaking on his new role at UTA,Foy commented: “I’m thrilled to join the UTA Ventures team to grow and diversify the company’s direct investing and new venture funds.
“UTA Ventures is a highly innovative group in the industry, which I have admired for some time. I look forward to working with my new partners and colleagues across the company.”

Foy will be primarily focusing on the areas of direct investing, venture capital investments, and fund development for the company.
