ESI, Fnatic, Pinnacle and more announced for Lima Games Week Digital Summit

Lima Games Week is set to feature its first Digital Summit on July 20th, with a variety of industry figures announced for the event.

This includes, Fnatic’s Partnership Development Director, Julien Dupont, and Sam Cooke, Esports Insider’s Managing Director, who will be keynote speakers for the digital esports management conference. LATAM tournament organiser Live Media Esports Entertainment will also participate in the event.

There will be a range of regions being represented in the conference, hailing from Europe, USA, and LATAM. Speakers will present and discuss the most relevant issues in esports business.

The Lima Games Week Digital Summit is set to be a digital esports management conference that aims to bring together leaders from the global esports scene.

One discussion will see Oscar Soriano, the CEO of Play The Game Agency, voice his thoughts on the advantage of esports over traditional sport and its connectivity with new audiences.

Regarding the conference, Soriano commented: “I am very happy to be with industry heavyweights at this great esports conference in Peru. Without a doubt, LATAM is going to grow a lot in the sector and it needs more and more skilled professionals to take on all the challenges that come its way.”

There is also a multitude of other intriguing topics planned at the summit, with notable industry figures speaking on these. Florencia Brancato, Head LATAM of Pinnacle, is to moderate the betting panel. Moreover, Andrés Valencia, LATAM Director of FirstBlood, will explain how mobile esports is gaining ground on its PC and console counterparts.

Diego Foresi, CEO of Infinity, will showcase how the company became a multi esports organisation of global recognition. Additionally, Oscar Ugaz, ex-Digital Business Manager of Real Madrid, is set to analyse how traditional sports has entered esports, and if the club will be able to obtain a leading place in the industry.

The event will also feature discussions on matters which have revitalised the industry in the last few years, such as marketing with gaming influencers and the growth in the sale of gamers articles during the pandemic.

Some other figures that are expected to participate include:

  1. Rajesh Punjabi, CEO of VSG,
  2. Phillip Chu Joy, host of TEC TV Show,
  3. Gian Carlo Villanueva, Corporate Manager of Marketing and Innovation of Grupo Efe,
  4. Jose Luis Rodríguez, CEO of Ultimate Agency 
  5. Alejandro Moral, Regional Director of Beastcoast

Luis Carrillo Pinto, CEO of Live Media Esports Entertainment, said: “We want to contribute to the growth of esports in Peru and the entire LATAM region.
