North American esports organisation Version1 has announced a partnership with herbal medicines and supplements provider Nature’s Way for its Call of Duty League team Minnesota Røkkr.
The deal will see Nature’s Way create content with Minnesota Røkkr to highlight the team’s routines and hobbies. In addition, Nature’s Way will provide the Call of Duty League team with its range of supplements.
Brian ‘Saintt’ Baroska, Minnesota Røkkr’s Head Coach, commented: “When you play at the pro level, you’re competing against the best in the world.
“Winning a 1v1 or closing out a round happens in a matter of milliseconds. The role a healthy lifestyle plays in competing can’t be overstated and health and wellness is a priority for our team.”
According to the release, the content series is expected to educate fans about staying healthy as a professional esports competitor. The activation will see some of Røkkr’s players talk about how they prioritise personal wellness to stay prepared for upcoming matches.
2021 has seen Minnesota Røkkr secure a range of new partners. Alongside Nature’s Way, the Call of Duty league team has agreed deals with the USAA, Waconia Brewing Company, eFuse and SCUF Gaming, among others.
Ali Shater, Brand Manager at Nature’s Way, added: “Nature’s Way is in the business of helping people live healthier lives. Each one of us has a unique journey, and we aim to create products that help consumers of all interests and lifestyles find their way to wellness.
“Gamers are constantly looking for ways to improve their health and wellness routines, so introducing products that support their cognitive needs helps us fulfil that purpose.”
