Record label Warner Music and prepaid payment service paysafecard have been announced as the latest partners of the VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) EMEA.

According to the release, paysafecard will present the ‘Player of the Match’ segment throughout the EMEA Challengers Playoffs and Last Chance Qualifier. After every match, fans will be able to vote for their own MVP on VCT EMEA’s twitter channel.

Konstantinos Maragkakis, an Esports Spokesperson for paysafecard, commented: “paysafecard has been a proud and active contributor to the esports community for many years. As a payment partner and sponsor, we are excited to support the regional VALORANT competition in its first year and hope to help it grow.”

Warner Music’s partnership will cover the region’s VCT Stage 3, as well as the Last Chance Qualifier.

Throughout the duration of the deal, Warner Music will present songs and music videos by the record label’s artists during game breaks and stream countdowns. In addition, Warner Music’s artists will be highlighted on VCT EMEA’s social media channels.

Zeynep Gencaga, Senior Manager, Business Development and Partnerships Europe and MENA at Riot Games, stated: “We are very excited to welcome a trusted partner to VCT EMEA now as well. Warner has been bringing their high-quality tunes to the LEC broadcast already and we look forward to have their sounds elevating the viewing experience of our streams as they present us the Music of the Week.”

Over the last 12 months Warner Music has secured a range of esports partnerships through its regional divisions. This includes the likes of MAD Lions, ESPL and the LCO, among others.

Meanwhile, in February paysafecard extended its long term partnership with event organiser and production company ESL Gaming.

Esports Insider says: The addition of Warner Music and paysafecard to VCT EMEA’s has bolstered the tournament’s commercial portfolio significantly. Both partners will provide financial benefits and also introduce integrations that should hopefully enhance VCT’s broadcasts.
