Nerd Street Gamers names JuJu Smith-Schuster as brand ambassador

Esports infrastructure company Nerd Street Gamers has named professional American Football player JuJu Smith-Schuster as brand ambassador for the company and Localhost gaming centres.

As a result, Smith-Schuster will collaborate with the company on a range of projects including the launch of a dedicated esports camp.

Alongside co-hosting the esports camps, Smith-Schuster will also create a range of tournaments involving open qualifiers and professionals from traditional sports and esports.

John Fazio, CEO of Nerd Street Gamers, commented on the news in a release: “Our partnership with JuJu is all about providing access to technology and gaming for those who need it most.With JuJu’s background and personal experience with that mission in gaming, we are confident he will help us tackle this problem in the esports industry.

This is the second brand ambassador role for Smith-Schuster after gaming peripherals brand HyperX renewed its partnership with the player in July.

The newly-appointed ambassador, also commented on the collaboration: “I am super excited to partner with Nerd Street Gamers on bringing esports and gaming access to everyone all across America. Together we’re going to provide accessible gaming camps, and create great platforms for people to compete – no matter where they’re from or what their previous experience in the esports world has been.”
