Alpine Esports unveils partnership with BenQ for F1 Esports Series

Alpine Esports, the esports branch of French automotive marque Alpine, has entered a partnership with Taiwanese multinational technology company BenQ.

As a result, the company will equip Alpine’s sim racing drivers with its MOBIUZ gaming monitor for the F1 Esports Series.

Alongside providing the team with monitors, the BenQ MOBIUZ branding will be visible on the drivers’ personal streams and digital content. The deal coincides with the start of the fourth F1 Esports Series, which gets underway on October 13th.

Cedric Journel, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Alpine, spoke on the partnership: “We are delighted to partner with BenQ and benefit from their expertise in the F1 Esports Series. We have seen in recent years that the competition has become very tight as the teams move up a gear in preparation and delivery.

BenQ becomes the second partner of Alpine F1 Esports team, joining French sim racing company Race Clutch which provides the team with a range of hardware including dedicated rigs built for competition.

Esports Insider says: Sim racing can often be decided by split-second decisions and to ensure that Alpine’s F1 Esports drivers can compete at the highest level, joining forces with BenQ is a smart move. The partnership also benefits the monitor manufacturer, which will receive plenty of valuable feedback from the drivers to optimise its products.
