In addition, Adorama will become the official retail electronics partner for the esports organisation.

The two companies started to work together two years ago, with the first jointly organised event being a Street Fighter V tournament in August 2020. Since then, Adorama and Panda Global hosted a number of charity tournaments and benefited organisations such as the Breast Cancer Research Foundation and Gamers Outreach.

Dr. Alan Bunney, CEO of Panda, commented: “Adorama has been an amazing partner. Supporting charity and communities around the FGC and Smash Bros. with the events we’ve partnered on has been a wonderful experience for both us and the fans. We can’t wait to take our partnership with Adorama to the next level and continue to bring more great things to our community together!”

The first event under the new partnership has already taken place. In December of 2021 Panda and Adorama hosted a charity cup that raised money for City Harvest, New York’s largest food rescue organisation.

In addition, Panda Global players made a number of appearances on the AdoramaXP Twitch channel. Adorama and Panda Global have announced that more stream takeovers by Panda players are planned for 2022.
