Norwegian esports organisation 00 Nation has bolstered its Brazilian division where its CS:GO and Rainbow Six Siege teams are based with seasoned, well-known local personnel.

00 Nation’s new Brazil-focused team consists of Ricardo ‘dead’ Sinigaglia, formerly of MIBR, as its Esports Director, Global, as well as Fred Tannure (ex-Flamengo) and Chico Tattini (previously of Rensga and INTZ) as Head of Marketing, Brazil and Head of Partnerships, Brazil, respectively.

Alongside the trio, Cleber ‘Fuzi’ Fonseca, one of the owners of CNB eSports Club, has been announced as 00 Nation’s Marketing Manager. Meanwhile, Victor Freire, Ed Vicentini, and Nuno Miranda will join the organisation’s operations team.

The revamp of the executive team coincides with the organisation’s renewal of its CS:GO team, which features renowned Brazilian players such as Marcelo ‘Coldzera’ David and Epitácio ‘TACO’ de Melo.

In addition to the personnel announcement, 00 Nation has also announced peripherals brand Redragon a sponsor of its Brazilian teams.

The peripherals brand has signed as a sponsor for its CS:GO and the Rainbow Six Siege teams. The contact was led by Tattini, who previously dealt with commercial deals involving INTZ and Rensga, as well as by Tannure, who has already worked with Redragon in Flamengo Esports.

Esports Insider spoke with Sinigaglia and Tannure about 00 Nation’s plans with the new hires. According to the executives, the organisation aims to create a connection with its audience both by producing lifestyle content and developing a strong competitive vein.

“We want to create a community for 00 Nation that still does not exist here. We want people really supporting the team,” Tannure said.

Sinigaglia also highlighted that its Brazilian division is not closed and new hires will be brought in as the project develops.

He commented: “We can make good initial work with the names we have. As we expand, we will look into the market for people we believe to have the profile of the company we are building.”
