North American esports and gaming organisation FaZe Clan has launched a new business vertical in partnership with food delivery platform DoorDash.

Dubbed, ‘FaZe Subs’ the project will offer a range of sandwiches inspired by various members of the organisation.

According to a release, FaZe Clan content creators worked with Eric Greenspan, chef and Culinary Director at Virtual Dining Concepts, for the project. The sandwiches will be available exclusively on the DoorDash platform in 23 states across the United States starting on July 26th. FaZe Subs will expand into other states and Canada later this year.

The launch of the vertical follows FaZe Clan’s initial partnership with the delivery platform secured in May 2022. Alongside FaZe Subs, the two parties will collaborate to create the ‘DashDays’ content series where viewers can win rewards.

DoorDash is no stranger to the esports industry. In recent years, the platform has secured a naming rights deal with the League of Legends Circuit Oceania (LCO) and entered a multi-year partnership with the NBA 2K League.

To mark the partnership, FaZe Subs and DoorDash will host FaZe Rug’s Summer Festival at the organisation’s warehouse located in Los Angeles on July 30th. The event will give attendees the chance to try the sandwiches in addition to meeting ‘special guests’ and content creators.

Brian ‘FaZe Rug’ Rafat Awadis, spoke on the deal: “I love that FaZe Clan is always down to let us try new things so of course when I heard we were doing FaZe Subs, I wanted to make my dream sandwich.

“I had a lot of fun creating this with Chef Eric and I want the fans to know I made this for them when they take that first bite. I can’t wait for people to give The Rugfather and the rest of the FaZe Subs menu a try.”
