Esports and data analytics company HUDstats has announced a multi-year partnership with betting service provider Sports Information Services (SIS).
As a result of the deal, HUDstats will use its analysis technology to distribute esports data from SIS’ virtual basketball and football streams to create real-time esports betting products.
HUDstats will analyse over 20 in-game events of virtual football matches and 40 in-game events of basketball. The events will allow SIS to distribute markets for various events ranging from the number of throw-ins to the team currently in possession.
SIS supplies betting platforms with FIFA and NBA 2K streams across the globe in addition to its horse and greyhound racing offerings. Matches that take place are overseen by an integrity referee to ensure fair play is maintained throughout.
For HUDstats, joining forces with SIS is the second partnership it has secured in 2022. In June, the company entered a partnership with DreamHack Sports Games, the sports simulation business unit of tournament organiser DreamHack.
In addition to FIFA and NBA 2K, the analysis company covers a variety of esports titles including EA NFL Madden, League of Legends, CS:GO and Dota 2.
Andrei Bălănescu, CEO of HUDstats, spoke on the collaboration: “We’re looking forward to working with SIS and providing esports fans and esports betting aficionados with engaging and fascinating data and statistics for their favourite streams.”
“Our technology stack allows us to provide a great number of accurate match data points in real-time, at a sub-second speed. Our partners, SIS can use them to create engaging on-screen graphics and betting commentary that increase performance for their customers.”
