Belong Gaming Arenas, a subsidiary of esports and gaming technology company Vindex, has partnered with North American esports organisation OpTic Gaming to celebrate ‘OpTic Day’ in six of Belong’s US-based arenas.

OpTic Day, which is set to take place on August 14th, will see the organisation take over the venues with merchandise drops, meet and greets, gaming competitions and more.

OpTic’s event looks to celebrate the fans of the organisation. The day is imagined as a nationwide event spanning different states and cities, and will give the fans the opportunity to meet some of OpTic’s influencers, players and staff. The company did not say whether OpTic Day will grow into an annual event.

As a part of the event, OpTic and Belong Gaming will also create a limited-edition merchandise collection that will be sold during the day. The collection includes a jacket, a hat, skirt, shirts and more. Fans will also be able to compete in Call of Duty: Warzone tournaments, but it is yet unclear whether professional Wazrone players from OpTic will join the action.

Hector “H3CZ” Rodriguez, Owner and Founder of OpTic Gaming, commented: “OpTic Day is an opportunity to not only recognise our organisation’s journey and success over the past two decades, but to celebrate and reward the passionate community that has supported us every step of the way.”

OpTic Gaming is one of the most iconic brands in the space, and we’re excited to launch a nationwide pop-up retail and merchandise platform with an organisation of their calibre.”
