Esports Insider launches Esports Industry Week with events in London and Manchester

Esports Insider is proud to launch and spearhead Esports Assemble – Esports Industry Week.

Esports Industry Week will take place from 5th-10th September in London and Manchester, incorporating three different events. These are:-

  • ESI London – 5-7th September at Platform & BOXPARK Wembley
  • LVL UP – 7th September at BOXPARK Wembley
  • AXR Bridge – 9-10th September at HOST in Media City and at Old Trafford, the home of Manchester United FC

The aim of the project is to drive awareness of various sectors within the esports industry through a united front. The week will commence with the ESI London Exclusive Warm Up Reception and the return of the ESI Hall of Fame, as well as the WFH League Invitational, a 2v2 FIFA 22 tournament that pits companies against each other in a competitive but casual competition. Both activations will take place at Platform gaming and esports bar near Old Street in London.

Following the ESI Hall of Fame, Esports Insider will present the world’s esports industry festival, ESI London across 6-7th September. The two-day conference features a range of panels (including world-class industry speakers), excessive networking opportunities and activations such as the Wall of Jerseys, Hotshot Pop Golf with Hotdrop, VR Gaming, Sim Racing with Alpine F1 and Axe Throwing! Wednesday will include a special edition of LVL UP, courtesy of the team at the Esports Awards ahead of their show in Las Vegas this December. The afternoon of the 7th will also see The Clutch on the main stage, with four start-ups pitching live to the judges and the audience with $25,000 up for grabs courtesy of Overwolf.

Esports Industry Week will continue, but head north, on Friday 9th September in Manchester with AXR Bridge. Taking place primarily across two locations HOST Salford and Old Trafford the Atlanta-based esports and entertainment company AXR Edge will host an industry breakfast at HOST at Media City, followed by a day of industry-focused activities through the afternoon. The day will conclude with a VIP Dinner Reception and Manchester United Tour at the Old Trafford Museum.

The esports-centric fundraiser is expected to bring over 500 players across titles such as Rocket League, eFootball and Guilty Gear. Fans will choose which foundations they can support, with a portion of the proceeds going towards them.

The event will also feature a new artist competition as well as special performances by UK-based independent artists sponsored by SoFar Sounds.

Sam Cooke, Managing Director & Co-Founder of ESI, commented: “We’re thrilled to launch Esports Assemble – Esports Industry Week in the UK for the very first time.
